When Does "Eureka" Return?

Anybody have any idea when the show is coming back?

Originally they said January but we are almost half way through the year!!!

Eureka is a sometime show that always starts in either June or July.

However the season is only 10 episodes and then it will most likely be canceled anyways by the then SyFy channel.

I know when "Eureka" NORMALLY premieres, but we were told that last season was going to be about twenty episodes - longer than the normal season.

However, it got cut in half and they said the second half of THAT season would air in January. It did not.

It's airing in July. They are moving it to Friday nights and teaming it up with Warehouse 13.

Warehouse 13 takes over Eureka's Tuesday time period premiering July 7-inaugurating the name change to syfy. Eureka gets booted from it's comfortable and successful Tuesday slot to Fridays @ 9pmEST, paired with what? Who knows...

They pushed the show back to extend the season and then thrown it on Fridays at 9 to be shown with nothing! That's pretty clear they want to kill it.

No, it's not cancelled -- they've been airng commercials for the new season to start in July, for a bit now. Maybe you missed that part.

I doubt they want to kill it, I'm pretty sure the ratings are good and it gets some critical acclaim.

My guess the reason the second half of the season got pushed back so far was because Sci-Fi couldn't afford to make another season of the show this year, so they decided to use the second half of season 3 as the next season.

Best I know, Friday Night Death Slot applies to regular television, and is not a "Death Slot" for cable.
