I know when "Eureka" NORMALLY premieres, but we were told that last season was going to be about twenty episodes - longer than the normal season.
However, it got cut in half and they said the second half of THAT season would air in January. It did not.
Warehouse 13 takes over Eureka's Tuesday time period premiering July 7-inaugurating the name change to syfy. Eureka gets booted from it's comfortable and successful Tuesday slot to Fridays @ 9pmEST, paired with what? It's airing in July. They are moving it to Friday nights and teaming it up with Warehouse 13.
Yeah, the death slot that Farscape, BSG, Stargate and Doctor Who all shared...I'm saying they are ditching the show to a Friday night death slot, so they want to cancel it.
Oh, it's the other Friday night in the week? That's nice because it's no longer the same Friday night as when BSG and Stargate was shown.
I doubt they want to kill it, I'm pretty sure the ratings are good and it gets some critical acclaim. So Eureka is as good as canceled.
They pushed the show back to extend the season and then thrown it on Fridays at 9 to be shown with nothing! That's pretty clear they want to kill it.
Great thinking SyFy!
