When did Nimoy finally finish Spock's characterization?

In the original series, I believe that his last genuine display of emotion that wasn't brought about by some sort of influence was at the end of Amok Time when he found out that he really didn't kill Kirk.

"JIM!!! er, Captain your alive...!"

along those lines... :shifty:

According to Nimoy (I Am Spock), Spock was fully realized in The Corbomite Manuever when he utters "...fascinating."

Nimoy fully realized his Spock character in Star Trek this year on the big screen. He showed there was still more we could learn about the character and completed his role by handing it over Quinto.
