Wheaton/Roddenberry/fans talk Trek XI in video

Hi all - I shot some footage at last year's Vegas con, and it has only just recently been posted by the network right here!

It's pretty fun stuff with some interviews with fans, Rod Roddenberry and Wil Wheaton all kind of speculating about the new movie.

Please forgive the "commercial" nature of my post, but I'd love to think that we can develop an audience for the show and be able to make more. That, and the BBSers who we keep meeting out in Vegas year after year are the most fun to hang out with.

Thanks, that was a nice interview with Will! I enjoyed your piece, but you don't need to ham it up so much, you know your stuff and obviously love the subject matter.

Hey - thanks for the kind words! That's fair criticism, 22Stars. I'm actually not the guy on camera but rather behind the scenes. We're always trying to strike the right balance between information and entertainment - got to stay somewhat fresh :-)
Woulfe, Rod hadn't read the script when we shot that (I don't know if he has since then), but rather he was saying he would be glad to champion the film if he likes it and he's looking forward to being a "fan."

Wil is looking forward to it & like most he's reserving judgement 'till he sees the final product, a wise choice.

The colored bands are required by the convention (one is for admission, the other is for press, etc.). The big watch? Just a unique fashion sense

Hey! I remember that girl doing the interview with Wil Wheaton at the Vegas Con. I saw her walking around with a camera guy, but I never knew what they were shooting for. Guess now I know.
