There's a significant meteor shower scheduled for later tonight (between roughly 2 and 5 in the morning, U.S. East coast time) so I hope the clouds and weather cooperate at that time of the morning.
In other words: almost infallible premises for clouds, fog and pouring rain
(At least over here it always pours whenever there's something interesting going on in the sky)
Heavy clouds here. Moderately warm (18°C) but damp. Thunderstorms last night and a few more milling around atm.
My town is in the middle of a bowl-shaped valley. Thunderstorms usually just pass us, but occasionally one drops into the bowl and takes a few rounds along the walls till it finds its way out again. One round takes about half an hour so that our local thunderstorms tend to pass approx. at 30 min intervals. Handy, if you want to quickly go shopping or bring the trash out in between the rounds.
Could be much worse though: yesterday they said on the radio that a higway near Munich was totally jammed due to heavy hail.
