It's 8pm and it's the warmest it's been all day: 9ºF. I don't think we made it into double digits today. In Queens.
Our high today was 7 (but still with a -15 windchill), which is actually a solid 20 degrees warmer than it was yesterday.
15 degrees right now, but the breeze and wind are making it feel much worse. We're supposed to get up to 64 for a daytime high on Sunday.

Yeah, it was warmer in Antarctica the other day. But you know what? We deal with winter every year. These temps were certainly colder than what we normally get, but we're so used to this kind of stuff that it really isn't that bad.
Today there was a 15 below windchill, and I was out running errands in a light sweatshirt, because compared to the day before, 15 below felt like spring time!
Right now, in Toronto, it's -17C with a windchill of -29C (that's 1F/-20F). It's supposed to go up to 6C (43F) on Saturday. Go home, winter, you're drunk.
Yesterday, I saw a flock of Canada Geese flying north - I guess they got confused when their usual southern home froze, and thought it was time to come north again.

19 degrees and still close to zero with the windchill. We're going to start warming up fast in the next day or two, but for right now the Polar Vortex is still dragging its icy tail across this area.

42 F and increasingly cloudy. We might be getting some freezing rain and other precipitation over the next couple of days.
still much too warm, almost spring-like. Heavy rain in teh morining but now (08:45) the sun is slowly coming out. There must be quite a storm in the upper atmosphere - the clouds race with incredible speed while down here there's not the slightest bit of wind.
