what's your local weather?

2-3 inches of snow and the entire greater Houston metropolitan area has ground to a complete halt. Thank God the power is still on.

We're one county south of Houston and this is what it looks like in my neighborhood this morning:

Central PA: dropped below zero for the first time since late January/early February 2019. Thankfully, no wind to speak of.

This past month has been the coldest spell that I can remember since the winter of 2017-18.

I had to chuckle a bit this morning because a customer was in the store yesterday getting his truck ready for a cross county drive to the Florida panhandle. He and his wife were retiring there because it was warmer than Washington. Well, I just looked at the map, and where they're moving is currently colder than the Puget Sound.

It's not even noon yet, temperature is already 64 F, it will get to the upper 60's today. The low this morning was 33 F.

January is normally our rainiest month of the year, but no rain this month, yet. We need the rain, and more snow in the mountains.
I'm familiar with Central California's environment. Here's hoping you all get what you need.
