The last couple days have been breezy and on the cool side. I would have hoped we'd still be getting some of that summer warmth in early August. I've actually been chilly when I came out of the office the last two days.

(Although I'm guessing that those of you suffering in Europe and the southern US would probably trade for "chilly" right about now. )

Its ok at the moment, quite, but we've had a lot more thunder storms than usual, and flash flooding on the other side of the river. I filmed some of the heavy rain from the window while I was cooking a couple of days ago.

Hot and extremely muggy after a downpour early this morning. Heat index hit 115 F today.

Another scorcher. Our electric grid is really struggling with so many people having to run the AC at max. We've been having crazy surges. Lost four surge protectors already this week, one of them today.

Still hot but not as hot as it used to be. However, it's hotter than a day or two ago.
