We've had only 8 days of rain all year! It's unbearably hot and stuffy. The forecast predicts thunderstorms for the afternoon but it'll propably end up like the last 5 times: the thunderstorm will veer off before it reaches my town If this draught continues, we'll all be mummified by the end of the year.

it's amazing how many troubles rain takes to avoid my town. It rained all around, though, so that the air is hot and humid like in a greenhouse or a steam laundry. Pretty unbearable. I think I'll have ice cream for supper tonight..

Last two days has been mostly sunny and quite warm, but each of the days had a brief period of thunder with heavy rain for a short time.

Today was beautiful... warm, but not too humid, with a light breeze, and a perfectly blue, cloudless sky. The gentle buzzing of the cicadas topped off the ambiance.

Pretty much the best that summer has to offer. I didn’t want to have to go into the office today.
