^ Texas has all types of terrain---deserts, plains, swamps, hill country, forests. I live in the greater Houston metropolitan area--which is bigger than many states. My town is sprawling suburbs built over old sugar farms. As you get closer to Houston, it turns to swampland.

And there it is. Snow. Three days of snow have begun. Anywhere from 4-12 inches depending on who you believe.

I'm physically incapable of operating my snowblower right now.

This morning there was frost in the pastures that looked like snow in the dawn light, but it was clear and warm all day. Very pleasant.

Tonight though, the little heater is on in the living room.

Weather right now is gorgeous. However, they are actually predicting snow for tomorrow. WTF!

Because of reasons, I'm a little less tolerant of cold now. It's in the mid-30s and I feel pretty chilly.
