what's your local weather?

I'm in no way ready for summer to arrive, but I'm done with the cold cold we've been having.

Let's put it this way: I was outside wearing only a t-shirt on my upper body. I went out with a coat over it and overheated. I only felt a slight chill when the breeze hit me just right, but that was a good thing as I went outside in the first place because I was overheating inside.

Gloating!

Yes, 32°F is freezing (Fahrenheit used salt water to determine the freezing point of water).

Distilled water can become supercooled and remain liquid well below the normal freezing point of water. This phenomenon is known as "supercooled water". Drop the slightest impurity in that water and it freezes instantly, it's impressive to watch!

Still gloating. We're hitting single digits this week.

Understood. We had single digits most of the day yesterday (finally reached 10°F for a short while) and have had those quite a few days in the last month or two.
