It’s the hottest summer since 1976 apparently. It just seems pleasant.

Tropical Storm Chris is spinning a ways off the Outer Banks. We are only getting wind speeds of around 25mph and not much rain so far.

Well I for one will not be complaining about the weather, except for the written in stone torrential downpour scheduled for the whole of the first week of August, during my English holiday.

This summer so far has been, aside from the lack magic, absolutely magical. At no point have I thought it was too hot outdoors, nor have I worried about a carrying coat.

Maybe we’ll have a long cold snap over winter.
