They can even give just a chance of flurries or even a dusting of snow and people buy up milk and bread like the apocalypse is at hand. What do they do with bread and milk? The forecast is calling for 23-29+ inches of snow. My landlord skedaddled for the weekend, so it's up to me to shovel. School will probably be closed for most of next week (I think in 2010 they were out for 10 days after a similar storm)

Well, snowmageddon arrived. We have maybe five inches and they're calling for another 3-8 so my whole day just became open as I will not be attending work

No snow here--hardly ever happens here--but it's windy as hell and should get down to freezing, or just above it, this evening. Right now, it's sunny and clear, but a bit brisk, at 50 F.
