what's your local weather?

It was 18 degrees in the AM when I took my kids to school. However by 1pm, it warmed up to 30 degrees. It actually felt warm, the weather report said we would hit 40 degrees but that didn't happen. Not too long after that, the temperature dropped quickly to 15 degrees and it started to snow heavily and the wind got real strong. It has since warmed back up to about 25 degrees and now ice is falling.

While it was technically just a thick layer of hail, this is about as close as Huntington Beach, California will come to a snow storm. From two days ago:

We also got hit with lightning right behind the house, and the thunder was so powerful is shook the whole house like an earthquake and set off all the car alarms outside. It freaked the cats out.

54 degrees and a light drizzle coming down to help melt the remaining snow. We might get a few more inches tomorrow (I originally thought the snow forecast was for today) but only time will tell.

It is a glorious 39 degrees today, unfortunately no sun but still that 39 degrees almost made it feel like spring. There are massive puddles all over the place from the melting snow. However they should all freeze up again, the high tomorrow is suppose to be 18 degrees.

Holy crap; it's 81 F degrees right now. I have the A/C on! And tomorrow, they say, will only have a high of 43 F. I hate this rollercoaster weather.

-13C with a mixture of sun and cloud. The melting has stopped, but it is supposed to continue to get gradually warner over the next several days. Spring weather is beginning to put in a fight.

38 F and cold rain. The snow that was predicted for the area has either been called off or delayed, but right now it's just raining with no signs of any snowflakes.

OK, yesterday was 81 F; today, it won't get above 38 F and it's windy as hell.

I'm glad I have nothing to do today.

The snow began a few hours ago. It doesn't look like it's going to be anywhere near as much as the last snowfall and it's not really sticking to the pavement, but it's coming down and it looks pretty.

Well, it was nice and warm for a couple of days....perfect weather to bring in crowds to Bourbon Street, but then, it dropped back down to mui frio today, and is supposed to be like this for another couple of days.

Brrrrr.....who forgot to pay the heating bill again?!

4°C, cloudy. It's been a very mild winter in western Germany. It'll be colder in Bavaria, where I'll be moving a week from now. Yay!
