what's your local weather?

We're in the middle of a blizzard. My driveway is knee deep and the roads are closed. I haven't seen a plow in 4 hours. The wind picked up and buried the road again. Probably why the plows gave up. Visibility down and trees keep flickering our power. Fun times. Still not as bad as 2011 when we had to have farm tractors dig out our road and driveways because the snow was 21 feet in some places because of drifting.

It's been snowing for almost 24 hours, and the forecast predicts at least six more hours of steady snowfall. I'm sick of snow. I don't know exactly how much is out there, but is a lot. Blizzards - ick. But I'll take them over, say, a hurricane, so I guess that's something.

Oh, and the satellite is buried, so we're not watching the game, either. *sigh*

Crap. I think the snow has turned to sleet, judging by the noise it's making on the screens. This one might be 5 or 6 new inches of snow, plus some ice, but the forecast remains a moving target.

It's currently 14 degrees and snowing pretty heavily. We had about 6 inches of snow overnight and it has continued snowing. We are expected to get between 10 to 12 inches of snow today, so that should put us over a foot of snow.

41 F and mostly sunny with clear skies with lots of bright sunshine. Cold, but at least it's sunny.

-13C and very windy so the wind chill factor is presently at -30C. It is a bitter cold out there. Not wise to leave any exposed skin. Also, it's been snowing for about 18 hours now and is scheduled to continue until late this afternoon or early evening.
