what's your local weather?

We've got wildfires going on in my province (Alberta, Canada). I'm far enough away to be safe, but the smoke has been drifting all over the province, the country... and as the smoke blows away from our fires, we get more smoke from the wildfires in British Columbia.

The sky is a greyish-yellow, my windows are closed, and even inside I can smell smoke.

Anyone who has rain now... wanna trade? Or even snow would be okay.

I'm not sure how much, but according to my mom we got some rain last night, but most of the water has dried, the sun is out and it's warmed back up 99ºF. The rain has made it fairly humid the last couple of days.

It's raining ashes here from the fires (just ashes, no actual liquid rain), and we're nowhere near the fires (or at least not enough to worry about anything but the smoke). I've been coughing and had a headache and dizziness all day, and I haven't even been outside. The air inside this whole building is smoky.

The sky is greyish-yellow and visibility is to the point that the trees across the street aren't very clear. It's like when it's foggy, except this haze is due to smoke.

Hot, humid and no rain. Monday we had a 98 percent chance of rain in the forecast but didn't get a drop. The lawn is starting to look like a tumbleweed.
