Cold. Thankfully not bitterly so though.
Finally cool.
How's everyone's Winter so far? Here we have no snow, but it's been very cold and damp, and I have doubt whether we'll see snow by Christmas which is very unusual for us. I've only ever seen a handful of Christmases without snow in my region, and this year we can't seem to get enough of it to stay before it all melts.

Wow, a day later after I last posted, and now we have a big snowstorm with high winds.
You say that like it's a bad thing.
Here it's off and on rain with a slight breeze. It's heaven. It won't last though. You blink and that damned sun will be back with it's 99 degree plus heat. Where's Soran and his missels when we need him??
Not sure if we had the same system in our area, but we had precipitation all day Saturday too. Fortunately, it was above freezing here, so we only got rain all day long. Would rather have rain than the vile white stuff...
I'd rather have the snow, as when it's cold and damp without snow, you really feel it. Snow tends to make things warmer, and not to mention it looks nicer. Rain is just so drab.
I've never got my car stuck in a pile of rain.
I've never had to shovel all the rain out of my driveway.
I think we will have to agree to disagree!

I actually like shoveling the driveway. It's good excersize, especially when we're being cooped up during the pandemic with less to do.

I like rain but not torrents of rain. OMG Queensland and the east coast... Yikes.

We received more snow on Sunday than we have received over the past five years. 
I love the idea of snow and pictures of snow, but I really don't like real snow. The first winter here after being in Chicago for eight winters was lovely, such a reprieve in so many ways. This week has been challenging because it's been cold enough that the snow has lingered, and that has brought back the yucky feelings I dealt with during the winter there. It finally began seriously melting yesterday, and that should continue today. I'm looking forward to the snow being gone again.
