I wish we had your weather. It's 85 here and we haven't had rain for awhile. The pollen from the oak trees is everywhere and there were actually mosquitoes biting me..in February.
Snow! The prediction is for between 3 and 6 inches, but I'll believe it when I see it. It isn't sticking much right now.
Unseasonably mild... sunny, and +6°C. Just a brief reprieve, though... looks like it's back to messy snow for most of next week. The bright side is that it's been a milder winter with much less snow than usual. I can actually look outside and see some patches of uncovered grass right now!
we frequently get hurricane-strength storms in spring and fall/autumn. Tornados are very rare, though. Until a few years ago they were almost unknown but for the last 20 years they have become more and more frequent due to the climatical changes. I haven't seen one yet, but I guess it's just a matter of time. Weather in eastern Bavaria today: graphite coloured sky and moderate snowfall. All the roofs and cars are covered in white =) The ground is too warm, though (5°C) so that there it melts immediately. The forecast predicts 10° for tomorrow with a little bit of sun. Sunday cold and rainy, Monday cloudy and warm again. April comes early this year
