A gorgeous 28 deg C here! Beautiful weather! This evening though, its supposed to drop to 19, and we're getting high winds and thunderstorms. The downside to the heat of summer.
While the rest of Bavaria had huge thunderstorms yesterday, in my corner we only got 3 or 4 thunder claps and maybe an inch of rain. Almost no wind so that it didn't cool off much either. We just had another shower, violent but lasting only a few seconds. What we need is a few weeks of gentle rain. At least the forecast predicts that temperatures will stay around 30°C which is 10° less than yesterday. I expect the morning at least to stay rainy as I'm out sampling . Also, today is the press conference and show sampling for the international Joint Danube Survey where all the bosses (including the Minister for the Environment) meet. So it was to be expected that it'll rain
The thunderstorms they were predicting this evening never came. Although it appears they are predicting thunderstorms every day between Tuesday and Friday. One supposes that eventually one of these will end up being correct!
That reminds me of an ancient joke: Question to Radio Erewan: Is the weather forecast always correct? Reply: Basically yes. Only the date is often wrong. We had a lovely cool night and I sat out watching the bats till almost midnight. But now (5:45 am) it's already starting to heat up and I have a slight migraine which makes me suspect it's going to be one of these humid and hot days again which are so unpleasant. I think today I might have my second ice cream this year =)
a misty morning over here but it's already heating up. Currently 22°C, with 28° expected for the afternoon. The night was lovely, though: 16°C.
Still sunny hot, with a little light rain sometimes but the ground dries up so fast that it makes you wonder if it wasn't a mirage.
currently (6:30 am) 10°C. The forecast predibts 20° for the afternoon with clouds. Since it's teh day opf my ofdfice's summer party, you can be fairly certain that the thunderstorms predicted for tomorrow morning will switch a few gears up and arrive today the instant the BBQ starts
