What's your favourite movie or TV prop?

Though as far as "best," it's pretty hard to argue against the ruby slippers.

Another prop I forgot that I really liked: The LIGHT CYCLES from Tron!

We're getting a bit loose with our definition of "prop" here. According to Wiki:

In practical terms, a prop is considered to be anything movable or portable on a stage or a set, distinct from the actors, scenery, costumes, and electrical equipment.

Those famous ruby slippers are wardrobe items, not props. And the Light Cycles from Tron were computer-animated; they never existed in physical form.

I love it so much I tried to make my own.

A lot of it was just random odds and ends. I gutted a lot of old non functioning electronics. That was indeed a multi meter with an auto dimmer switch put on top of it. The main skeleton of the shrink ray itself is a metal tool organizer and two bathroom baskets. The table itself is an old dollar store wind chime display rack that was thrown out with a freezer rack holding it up. It's all held together with zip ties so it's very sturdy.

Speaking of props, anyone who's seen Altered Carbon on Netflix would have seen a pretty cool futuristic looking telescope. This was a physical prop built purposefully for the show according to the builders. It's perhaps one of my favourite recent examples of good looking props. And it's a scope that could theoretically function, if it had lenses in it.

Or maybe the wolf-headed cane from the original 1941 version of THE WOLF MAN?

Fossils, that reminds me of the cast made of the Id monster's footprint. That would be cool.
