What's your favorite coffee?

Coffee.

Medium roasted. Prefereably Gevalia or Classic. Swedish brands. I take it black in the biggest mug i can find.
That or AAs moms vanilla cappuchino coffee :D

Remembering this thread, last night while doing some grocery shopping, I picked up a small sample pack of Millstone Chocolate Velvet (just to try something new). A little while ago I brewed it up, poured a cup (my "The Continuing Voyages" TNG cup), added a packet of Splenda, and took a sip. Delicious. It has a robust flavor that's not too strong, but isn't weak like water, and there isn't a trace of bitterness. Smells great, too.

What's nice is that I own a little 4 cup coffee maker, which means I can make this pack of Millstone last a week. :D

I haven't drank coffee every morning since I was in high school, and I'm realizing maybe this is why my bowels have been uncooperative the last 6 years.

This past week has been, shall we say, regular.

I visited family for New Year's today...and got Starbucks Holiday Blend for a present! As well as a department store gift certificate, to buy a coffee grinder now!

Starbucks coffee is crap - way overdone, IMO. It tastes burnt to me. I have NEVER had a good cup of coffee in a Starbucks, and it baffles me why they became so popular.

I continue to try various blends offered at Trader Joes - they have a decent coffee selection. They have a Guatemalan blend that I like...and one that is called something like "Smooth & Mellow" I think. But I even like their basic blend called 'Joe'. There are several that I've tried, and plan to try more of these - it's fun to experiment. I'm too lazy to grind the beans every single morning (plus my dogs hate the sound of the coffee grinder)...so I wait until I am almost out of coffee and then go and grind my next can at the store - it lasts a few weeks and stays pretty fresh if I keep the can tightly covered and in a cool place.

Unless you have to have 4 cups, you could always invest in a single cup maker.

My TNG mug takes two cups by itself. :D

I got a single cup coffee maker for Christmas at work...brews a nice cup in a small thermos mug that came with it! I only used it once, and it's on my desk at work for when I come back from holidays on Monday :techman:

Might try to find some different flavours if I can find some 'tasters' packs :)

Sumatra and Guatemala Antigua are favorites, and the Major Dickason's Blend from Peet's is a nice one.
