what's your fave transformation scenes?

what about from the 1987 Tranformers movie, where Optimus would drive up about to take on the Decepticons, and from Convoy mode to Robot mode he shoots up into the air and starts blasting the Decepticons from the air before he lands to duke it out with Megatron.

That's it. That's the list.

David Hedison or Jeff Goldblum?

It would have to be Goldblum. The Vincent Price movie didn't feature a transformation scene.

The two transformation sequences that stand out in my mind are both werewolf-related. The first is from The Howling. While much of it is pretty corntastic today (though some parts are still creepy), this was one of the most terrifying things to possibly be seen by a six-year-old kid back in the early eighties. (Let's see how long it takes your brain to finally recognize exactly where you remember "Eddie" from.)

The other sequence, which I hadn't seen since its original airing until a few minutes ago, is from Werewolf (the TV series). I seemed to recall it as Skorzeny ripping his face away from his eye-patch to reveal a terrifying werewolf underneath. It is, sadly, not as awesome as I remembered (or I have the wrong scene here).

No one's said Unicron yet?

I just saw a clip on Youtube (cos not seen the film) of Devastator combining/transforming in RotF.

That was cool...

This transformation scene from "Fringe" was great: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0fRQ4aODF44

cool! this is the type of transformation Im talking about mostly.

David Hedison or Jeff Goldblum?

uh, Jeff. Ive never actually seen the original film. :alienblush:

Whilst not exactly a transformation per se, my own would be the "budding off" of Evil Ash from Ash in Evil Dead 3. The disturbing eye growing from his shoulder, then the creepy puppet manically cackling as they separate makes it a classic for me. And its extremely well done considering the films limited budget.

yeah that was fun.

what the hell!!!? she sounded like she was turned on during the entire segment!!! :wtf:

She did say the process was "lighting my fire." What do you think she meant?

And now for an oldie, but a goodie:
