what's your fave transformation scenes?

Ive been kinda on a transformation binge lately, looking up tf art on Deviantart & was thinking of the ones Ive seen on tv /movies but the only ones that come to mind right now are American Werewolf in London (classic), Underworld(specifically Micheal in the car, I like the scenes long and detailed, no boring cgi quickies) & I havent seen the movie in a while but the first Species had some good ones though mostly female.

also after seeing this photo manip piece on Devart I have had this craving to watch a guy turn into a cat but other than Cat People(though I think only Natasha is shown changing), & the Thriller video(btw if Mike turned into a were-cat then why was he howling at the moon?) & the youtube clip of Manimal(which was atrociously bad ):wtf: I cant think of any others with guys turning into cats or cat-like creatures. :(

so anyway any fave tf scenes? it can be anything- aliens, lizards, opposite sex, furniture etc... :p

The VF-1 Valkyrie transforming into Guardian or Battaloid mode. Get there Macross/Robotech!

Optimus Prime int he 86 movie when he come to Autobot city, first he is a truck running down punk Decepticons and then transforms, blasts into the sky and sails over more Decepticons gunning them down.

Hot Rod becoming Rodimus Prime

Spider-Man and his Amazing Friends getting ready for action in the titles to their toon.
 
what about from the 1987 Tranformers movie, where Optimus would drive up about to take on the Decepticons, and from Convoy mode to Robot mode he shoots up into the air and starts blasting the Decepticons from the air before he lands to duke it out with Megatron.
 
Even though I never subscribed to that particular origin, The Trial of Cobra Commander from G.I. JOE MOVIE and the subsequent guilty verdict leading to his exposure to the mutation spores which devolved him into the snake creature always stuck in my mind. that and the haunting repetition of CC saying, "I wassss onccceee a mannnn."
 
Whilst not exactly a transformation per se, my own would be the "budding off" of Evil Ash from Ash in Evil Dead 3. The disturbing eye growing from his shoulder, then the creepy puppet manically cackling as they separate makes it a classic for me. And its extremely well done considering the films limited budget.
 
though the movie sucked, the Werewolf transformations in Van Helsing were pretty awesome as I recall.
