i have hairy aerolas(sp). i hate it. so i shave them. it's nothing metrosexual.
Lots of women desire a strong friendship with a man without having to worry about him seeing her as a sexual conquest, many guys don't.
With a gay man, woman can be friends with a guy without ever having to worry about him wanting to get into her pants.
However, not all Fag Hags are fat and unattractive. You'd be amazed at how many hot women enjoy the company of gay men.
That is very true. Not wishing to lead the thread astray but how many men can truely say they have a platonic relationship with a woman and don't secretly want 'to get into her pants?'
I can easily come up with 5 girls off the top of my head.

I was going to reply to that defending the male point of view as I have a lot of female friends. Unfortunately I can only think of two that I haven't, or have no desire to, sleep with.
So all thats left to say is... how you doin'?
Seriously though.. I know a lot of male/female friends. Drunken encounters aside, with only two exceptions the only close friends I have outside of work aren't female. Some are considered 'one of the boys' and are friends with us all, with nothing of a groping desire nature in there.
Well, I'm sure my favorite activity counts in both categories.
I sing in a choir. That, can easily be considered "gay", because I choose to be a tenor instead of a linebacker- infact, I have a great aunt who thinks I am gay pretty much for that reason alone. However, I think it's also one of the most heterosexual things I do, because I think that it takes balls to be able to get up infront of a bunch of people who ou don't know, will never meet, and who are constantly judging you ( and looking at you), and share something so personal, emotional, and spiritual as music.
All by the stereotypes, of course.

I'm with exodus. I do want to jump the bones of a few of my female friends! There is one friend that I had no designs on, and then, on one horny day, I suddenly wanted to take her in my car! I met my wife in choir, and you failed to mention one other 'not gay' thing about choir - when you're one of four guys in a choir full of women, and possibly the only straight one.

Maybe I'm just not familiar enough with the appropriate stereotypes, but I honestly can't think of anything I do that would be considered particularly gay or straight.
I have done some pretty gay things, including french-kissing other guys, and watching gay porn in a gay bar. I've even watched a live gay S&M sex show. I particularly enjoyed the scene where the 'construction worker' spanked the 'businessman' on the bare ass with a two-by-four. Finally, I thought--the worker gets to screw the boss.
But that was years and years ago. Nowadays, just about the gayest thing I do is listen to opera.
As for the most hetero thing I do--aside from thinking lustful thoughts about women, nothing is coming to mind.
