What's the story behind this photo?

I'm not sure whether to put this into the Voyager or the Enterprise subforum, but since this shows the NX-01 bridge, I'm posting it here.

I just found this image while browsing the image galleries at Trekcore.com and was wondering, if anybody knows the story behind this photo? Why is Robert Duncan McNeill visiting the Enterprise set? And why is he wearing a Voyager costume after the series has ended? Also, which episode are they shooting there? This is Travis' second season uniform, isn't it?

Yeah, you're right. I forgot about that. He actually directed "Cold Front", "The Breach", "Twilight" and "Countdown" – some of my favorite episodes from the show. Going by Travis' battered look, I suppose this is from the shooting of "Countdown".

But still, why is McNeill wearing a uniform?

His inner geek took over. I'm certain the actors could keep their uniforms and other memorabilia when the show ended.

I'll bet this is either from Twilight or Countdown; and for whatever reason McNiel decided to wear an old Voyager costume (or replica) while he directed.

It's from "Twilight."

From the episode production report originally posted at startrek.com:

"This shoot had more than its share of somber moments [during filming, the cast and crew observed the anniversary of 9/11, then learned longtime First Assistant Director Jerry Fleck had died], so to help lighten things up on the final day, Friday, McNeill came to work wearing his old Voyager uniform (i.e., the one he wore as "Tom Paris"). According to Bakula, McNeill bragged all day about the fact that he still fit in it."

thanks hr. even before reading your post i suspected twilight because anthony seems to be with the piece of material that fell and killed travis in twilight. and looking at the make up.

Oh thanks, you're the best! It's a nice story. Robert McNeill seems like a great guy to hang out with. :)

I've never seen this picture Hr thanks for sharing this story to go along with this photo.

What a cute picture (even with Montgomery's makeup, lol.) Thanks for the background info HR. :)
