what's the ncc-1701.com site about? Here's my thoughts

I think ncc-1701 may refer to something called a "starship".

But I can't be sure.

I'm not sure what they would call this "starship" though. I just can't think.

I think it will be updated as we get closer to the release of the film. It probably would have gotten updated sooner if the release date wasn't pushed until May. I believe the Abrams-produced Cloverfield had a viral site that was updated from time to time.

You know what I want from this site? More from the art department... namely, designs. Anyone following my thinking here?
