Wahlberg was great in The Fighter but sadly Bale and Amy Adams got all the press for that movie.

Haven't seen it, but I agree that he is a good actor that makes bad choices in films.

Lionsgate discusses the losses from Conan and 2 other films.

People who follow box office results closely won’t be surprised, but Lionsgate made it official today: Conan the Barbarian, Warrior and Abduction were such stiffs that the company says in an SEC filing it expects to announce that it lost somewhere between $40M-$50M in cash flow for the current quarter.

I'm guessing that's $40-50m in losses for the 3 combined?
If it is I'm curious what just Conan's portion of that would be. It was a decent film, if a tad long, and it deserved better than it got. I think it got overlooked for a few reasons one being the hit of Rise of the Planet of the Apes which got good buzz, WOM and press.
