What'd You Have For Breakfast Today?

Might be better than what I indulged in; McD's #2 (Sausage McMuffin w/egg&cheese/hashbrowns/milk). I either have to give those up or buy new pants. Think I'll look for a healthy option.

You can always try making your own breakfast sandwiches, or if you find you really can't give them up, try Jimmy Dean's D-Light frozen sandwiches. They're not the healthiest thing around and they're not going to be as good as McDonald's stuff, but it satisfies some of the cravings with less of the bad stuff.

!!!BACON!!!

I love weekends! If only I had champagne in the house to go with the o.j. . . .

(Kestra you're too kind! I confess I'm a little bit if a purist. Or a nut - depends on your viewpoint. If I'm going to splurge it's going to be all bad or I'll just give up and have oatmeal. I struggle finding that allegedly happy medium!)

Whole wheat bagel with pineapple cream cheese, red raspberry leaf and dandelion root tea, papaya... I'm trying to induce labour, LOL!

It was more like brunch - but had several slices of french toast with raspberry jam around a hour ago. Very nice.

Oatmeal with dried berries (and splenda) and a glass of milk.

It's usually that, cereal and milk, or eggs (toast optional) and milk. I drink a lot of milk.

So ... a crumpet is what we in the US would call an "English muffin"? (according to google) It looks nothing like what we would call a muffin, as in a blueberry muffin.

Over 20 years ago, when I was in London with my parents, we went to Greenwich and I asked at a diner there what certain baked goods on display were. I was told "scones." But they didn't look like what we call scones here; they looked like English muffins in texture--and they were round like English muffins. Hence, I piped up "English muffins!" which got a "huh?" look from the people there. Obviously, a Yank.

I didn't have anything for breakfast this morning. In fact, I didn't have anything *at all* to eat until about two hours ago (frozen pizza).
