Oatmeal with dried berries (and splenda) and a glass of milk.
It's usually that, cereal and milk, or eggs (toast optional) and milk. I drink a lot of milk.
So ... a crumpet is what we in the US would call an "English muffin"? (according to google) It looks nothing like what we would call a muffin, as in a blueberry muffin.
Over 20 years ago, when I was in London with my parents, we went to Greenwich and I asked at a diner there what certain baked goods on display were. I was told "scones." But they didn't look like what we call scones here; they looked like English muffins in texture--and they were round like English muffins. Hence, I piped up "English muffins!" which got a "huh?" look from the people there. Obviously, a Yank.
