What'd;ve happened if Caretaker had tried to impregnate Sam?

What'd've happened if Caretaker had tried to impregnate Sam?

My mind is reeling over this one.

Caretaker was so gone he might have thought Naomi was his, if the process didn't cause a miscarriage of course... And Janeway or Sam could have lied to Caretaker, confirming that he was the pappy which would have saved the crew from a world of pain.

A great deal of the crew were stuck into the stirrups of the Caretaker's rape machine for their three day vacation on the array but only B'Elanna and Harry had an allergic reaction to Caretaker's reproductive juices... Did others process his issue without getting weak at the knees and almost dying? Are we positive that harry and B'Elanna were the only recipients of banjo mans seed?

This all might explain the fertility issues Voyager crew if Caretaker clogged up their plumbing?

Of course, they didn't decide that Sam would be pregnant when Caretaker were written. But It might be interesting, if not cliched, if they made Sam pregnant, or did something to the embryonic Naomi. I suppose there is a certain potential. But given Voyager's track record, it probably would have been forgotten, until one silly episode in season seven.

You mean like in season seven we find out that she was the Caretaker kid for real?
