What would you name your Runabout?

Mine would be the U.S.S. Herring. Named after a stream near my home, not after the fish, though they are awfully tasty.

A couple of other Texans have already named the USS Trinity, so I'd have to go with either the USS Paluxy (the Paluxy River is full of dinosaur tracks, so it has extra awesome points) or the USS Cibolo. :D

I would name it the Halifax. Closest river to my home.
Or the St. Johns which was the closest river to where I grew up.

Maybe instead of the Colorado, which is after all also a state, I could name my runabout Tye after a river in Virginia. I believe there is also a small river in England called Tye, but I could be mistaken.

It is Tyne, the one in UK that is :)

I would say the USS Yarra (named after the river that runs through Melbourne, Australia) or the USS Swan (the river that runs through Perth, Western Australia).

How about "Indus"? It's a major river that runs through China, India, and Pakistan. Nearly 2,000 miles long. Not the longest in the world, but an extremely important river nonetheless, having provided life for some of the largest human habitations of the ancient world.
