What would you name your Runabout?

If I didn't have to have a river name, it would be the Runaround Sue. Just because it's a runabout.

Ooo, nice one! Although I now have the song stuck in my head. Thanks a lot... :klingon:

If we're going to make second choices, I'd go with USS Cam. I remember with fondness a visit to Cambridge, long ago...

Weyoun enjoys the maiden voyage of my Runabout, the USS Cuyahoga. :D

 I'm not sure many would catch on with this one, but you picked this shot because the Cuyahoga once caught fire, right? ;)

Given the high attrition rate for the Danube Class, how long do you think it'll be before they run out of names?

Based on loses seen in DS9, it would take centuries for the class to run out of names just based on the number of named rivers in the state I live alone. The class would need to be suffering truly horrific losses, 100+ a year (we've seen nothing to suggest anything like that) for the naming theme to become an issue before the class reaches obsolescence.

The loss rate for Ruanbaouts stationed at DSN was around 33%.

Statistics lie.

Give us the hard data, how many did DS9 have, and how many were lost.? How often?

There were three runabout pads, right? And the only runabout to survive the full seven years of the series was the Rio Grande.

I'll let someone else do the math from there...
