What my title states..... What if ya woke up IN SOMEONES QUARTERS on NCC-1701? (Kirks ship)


Oh my...... I would love exploring it!!!

I don't think I could post, in detail, the 'what if' I woke up in Yeoman Tamura's quarters....

TMI...for a personal fanfic scenario. *ahem*

The most likely answer to that "What If" is she'd call security and had you thrown in the brig for violating her privacy.

I'd want to walk around the ship as much as possible to see everything I can, especially the areas we didn't see on TV. And I'd try to find out definitive answers to every fanboy debate we've ever had about the NCC-1701 ("Are the bridge turbolift doors really 37 degrees off the axis? How many transporter rooms are there? Where is the engine room located? Does the Enterprise have a bowling alley or not?").

And after that, I'd do my best to find Yeoman Tonia Barrows's cabin so I could introduce myself.

I think that all of the yeoman personel are considered enlisted. They probably share an enlisted berthing area. Kind of like a big dorm room/secretarial pool. I'm going to sneak in and start a pillow fight. Or maybe strip poker.

You could put yourself in a stasis pod for a generation and fly into Spock's generated black hole with him when the time comes. I'd try to procure any 24th century vessel before I do. A mining ship crippled Starfleet (and some Klingons too).

But I understand. Personally, I'd be annoyed that I wasn't on the Enterprise-D, but the TOS version would be an acceptable substitute.
