I'm never against remakes in general, (and I'd probably watch if Alexis Denisof were cast on that basis alone) I wouldn't mind at all seeing a US take on the series.

I'd also love to see a British take on Trek, I love all kinds of British TV, sometimes because it's an insight into the culture, sometimes because it's just funny/touching/thought-provoking no matter the accent.

Maybe I'll go to the General Trek Discussion forum and ask about a British remake ...

Dominic West as Kirk (because it would be funny if Kirk sounded like Picard and I think West talks a bit like Patrick Stewart - posh Yorkshire)
