Ion Storms all over the world on the day in question, were we all will be instantaneously transported to alternate universes where we will each see a different version of the new Star Trek movie. In some universes it will look just like TOS, and in other universes it will look like TMP, and in other universes still it will look like TNG, and even in other universes it'll be 100% CGI, and so forth and so on, splitting the infinate.

Afterwards we will wonder as we leve the Theater why the sky is green and the grass is blue, and why everyone is happy, and there is no money, etc.

We will all suddenly then realize that we've gone all Quantum Mechanics.
