Looks like the critics and audience can't agree on both shows
Discovery has 85% critics and 43% audience
While Orville has 20% critics and 89% audience
 
I'm really surprised by the high critical scores. This is generally the kind of thing they pan: something that's trying to be popular by emulating other things that are popular.
 
I haven't read a "review" of anything since college, because they tell me absolutely nothing about whether I'll find the item in question to be good, but for the sake of the show I hope the reviews are great.
