Well that's very kind of you. And to be honest with you, I honestly was expecting to lose that bet. Yes, I seemed confident, but I was slightly skeptical. And I really did not expect the film to do as well as it has.

Please excuse the off-topic nature of my post but I finally saw TDK last night. The movie was better than BB by light years.

Heath Ledger gave the movie what Jack Nicholson gave "Batman" back in '89, a visual and emotional center. When he wasn't on the screen I was anticipating his re-appearance. Aaron Eckhart, Gary Oldman, and Maggie Guyenhall were also top notch.

The "size" of the movie was impressive. For that guy who called a it a "first rate crime drama", at the time I laughed, but now I understand and agree.

Cristian Bale sucks. The voice, the lisp, hard for me to understnd how he won this role. Robert Downey Jr.'s ner-do-well playboy millionair in Iron Man, blows Bale's off the screen.

Back on topic; $500 million.

Well, if BOM's estimates hold true then we are looking at about $75000 shy of the $522m mark. Like I said, either next weekend or sometime early next week TDK crosses $525m. As I have said in this thread countless times, it will NOT top "Titanic"'s $600m but it is PHENOMENAL(in the true sense of that word)to have done what it has done.
