What was your favorite time period on Shattered?

The early one. Back at the beginning. It was nice seeing the bun of steel again. And seeing Janeway Pre-Night, before she got obsessed with getting them home. :)

I'd say that obsession was already good n' brewing sometime around Scorpion. :) But I digress.

I like the "unknown" time period when Chakotay rambles off about 47 possible "incidents" and Janeway looks like she's about to have a coronary.

Also, the ending, when all the time periods come together and are friends. :)

Ohhhh. The ending was brilliant. It brought me my number one excuse, "Temporal Prime Directive."

And I see what you mean about Scorpion. That is kind of where it started. With Seven. (Another bad thing she brought besides those useless cat suits and stealing the show) But I believe that Night was where she decided it was get everyone home or die trying. But that's just my opinion.

Ha! I now know what my signature will be. =D

I'm a sucker for alternate futures, so the one with Icheb and Naomi. I liked how they put alien glyphs on the background consoles in astrometrics, suggesting an alien computer upgrade, or maybe new alien crewmembers.

It also seems like Voyager's still in the DQ, in a time period after even Old Janeway from "Endgame" got her alt-future crew home.

I really love the entire episode especially the chaotica bit the way her voice changes when she decides to go along with it after Chak's... what was it 8th demention... after he blows that! Everyone knows there are only 5 :wtf:

I love that entire episode except when she asks about thier relationship. He should have winked at her and said "what do you think" or "You'll see" maybe add an ass grab what the heck she isn't gonna remember it ;)

I also the the hallway flirting that goes on. Oh and when I think it is Tom throws Janeway the gun as she is comming down the lift in engineering... love that part.

He must have forgotten that chapter in the academy study book Captain Proton's Guide to Historic Alien Theories
I know I did. :)

Wouldn't that be wonderful? Just, you know, pulled her close and kissed her senseless. :sigh:

I . . . Sorry, lonely days home cause you to run to steamy romance novels(even some steamy fanfic)

But I don't see this as the J/C swan song. I think that was Workforce.

Was it her weapon of choice? The compression phaser rifle?

 She was always hot with that thing. And I think it was Tom. Could have been Chakotay though. :)

They should have had a scene where Chakotay explains the events of "Threshold" to clueless Janeway:

"You travel at infinity speed, turn into a lizard thing and have baby lizard things with Voyager's pilot, which we leave on some dumpy backwater planet."

"LOLwhut?"

If I wrote "Shattered", that would be something I would refuse to take out of the script at any cost.

^^^ LOL!

How did Janeway know where Chak kept the wine? Lets speculate...

Well . . . By Temporal Mechanics . . . She could have remembered everything. And since she heard Icheb say that he never told anyone where it was hidden she could have guessed it was in one of the cargo bays since the Borg children spent so much time there.

But that's just idle speculation. :)

Ohhh . . . And if she did remember everything, we could blame the fact that they never got together on Chakotay.

:guffaw::guffaw::guffaw:

One wonders what scene in "Threshold" they would walk in on...?

I can think of a couple... oh, ick ick ick :ack:

Also, seconded on the Chakotay/Janeway ass grab. :)

This ep is one of the reasons I maintain "something" happened on New Earth, because OBVIOUSLY preseason 1 Janeway saw the chemistry between the two!

That, and she "doesn't" loan her copy of Dante's Inferno to "anyone".

Why loan something he could just as easily read on the computer, or replicate himself? Hmmm????

As for why he doesn't tell her what she wants to know... its because he knows her. Pre-Maquis mission Janeway was straightlaced and uptight when it came to shipboard relations... pre-Maquis mission Janeway was still very much in love with Mark, and she probably left their bed just days before this meeting with season 7 Chak. As upset as she was at the thought of loaning her BOOK to Chakotay, how upset/stressed would she have been to think she "betrayed" her fiance with this renegade?

I don't think she remembers anything from her pre-Maquis mission, but I DO think Janeway knows where every bottle of her favorite cider is stowed away on her ship.

After all... Naomi isn't called "the Captain's assistant" for nothing.

;)

Interesting insight as to why he didn't tell her but... she was soooooooo diggin' on Chak in that ep. The looks she was giving him at certain times  it's almost as if she was hoping he would tell her that they are lovers and she would have something to look foward to... Mark who? Oh that guy! ;)

I'd have to say I like Chakotay's time best, because he gets to see all the others.

Hey! Why didn't he run into himself along the way? :wtf:
