I'm talking about Sinbad, The Sailor; not the comedian. I just watched The Eye of the Tiger and even though the acting was over done and the special effects dated, it was still a fun movie.

I really liked the Minaton and the Troglodyte. And stop motion animation is an art. Really good animation like that is a spectacular wonder to watch.

So vote for yours.

The 7th Voyage has one of the best musical scores of all time, but I think I have to go with the Golden Voyage, mostly because it has Tom Baker and Caroline Munro. (It was also the first one I saw, which gives it a nostalgia points.)

There are other Sinbad movies beyond the Harryhausen trio. As mentioned, there's the Popeye cartoon. There's 1947's Sinbad the Sailor with Douglas Fairbanks, Jr., Maureen O'Hara, Anthony Quinn, and Walter Slezak. There's the 1963 Captain Sindbad with Guy Williams. There's a 1989 Italian Sinbad of the Seven Seas with Lou Ferrigno. There's that well-animated but ill-conceived 2003 DreamWorks movie that made Sinbad Greek rather than Arab. And there are various others.

Still, the Harryhausen trio are pretty much the best of the bunch, though the Fairbanks film is pretty entertaining, as I recall. I'd vote for Seventh Voyage as the best, I think.
