What was the first ANIME you got hooked on?

Never managed to endure the original soundtrack since I´ve grown up with the German one (example). At least it´s not as cheesy as the US and Spanish versions.
Of course I know the original score. I just don´t care about it since it doesn´t match the show´s time period.
With Lupin III it´s a different story since it´s a whole different story (some stories are set in the 60´s and in the OVAs you´ll suddenly encounter a B2 bomber).
