What was the best Starfleet Ship Design ?

to me the coolest looking one is the one from Enterpise. Wimpy as hell but neat looking

I really liked the Ambassador Class ships. They had the right balance between Constitution and Galaxy. They, also, didn't look quite as bloated as the Galaxy Class did.
I didn't like the Miranda Class at all.

The original NCC-1701 from TOS is the only starship design seen on-screen that actually looks like it was designed by someone in the military.

Utilitarian and beautiful because of it.

Every other ship design in Trek looks like a design exercise, not a functional piece of military hardware.

I am currently engaged in a debate between the Constitution and the Constitution refit. I think both designs kick complete ass even though I'm not a huge fan of the refit's nacelles.

I'm going to have to go with both of them equally for the moment.

I like the Cheyenne, New Orleans, Galaxy, AKira, Relativity, and fake Dauntless classes, but my all time favorite is the one that has the best aspects of all Starfleet ships, the Ambassador Class!!

Everyone is entitled to their opinion. There's a lot of people who think the Galaxy is an abomination. I can see where the Ent-A would have the nostalgic value as well. I know my picks aren't a popular opinion either but there's nothing "wrong" with us for picking them.

Favourite ship design for me is the Akira class.

Also really like the Norway, Steamrunner, Nebula, New Orleans, Chaffee type shuttlecraft/pod.

The Enterprise 1701 from the original series remains the best.

My second favorite is the Enterprise-C, the Ambassador Class vessel first seen in Yesterday's Enterprise.
