What type of X-Box should I get?

^I don't think so. In fact, I think Datel made a cable that allows you to connect 360 hard disks and memory cards to your PC. Some people tried what you are suggesting and were told by the console that this would disable achievements within the game.

Well looks like my friend will jsut have to do Assasinns Creed & Mass Effect all over again

Seriously though Microsoft I do love the 360 but you are still pinheads in some circles :p

I have this problem on mine, but I am sure you can go into the setup and transfer saved games from one profile to another

The 360 tells me it does not allow any data to be transfered from profile to profile on the same console.

I'd wait for the pending price cut and go for the 60gb. I've found 20gb more than enough, and I've got shitloads of DLC and XBLA titles with 10gb spare still.

60gb should be sufficient for anyone even if they want to take advantage of the disc to HD feature (something that doesn't interest me in the slightest, tbh).

Don't bother with the Arcade SKU though. No HDD = Epic Fail.

Don't buy one right now, they are getting a price drop next month (on the 7th I believe) to $200 for the Arcade (the tard pack without the hard drive), $300 for the Pro (60 GB), and $400 for the Elite (120 GB).

Go with either the Pro or Elite, you'll want to be able to download demos, game content and Xbox Live Arcade games. Plus with the update this fall you'll be able to install games to your hard drive to decrease loading times.

Does this apply to the UK as well?
I haven't heard anything about an upcoming UK price cut, but then again I don't follow that sort of news too closely since I don't live in the UK.
