What time do you leave for work/school?

I'm lucky that I don't have a commute as such into work. I live on the edge of a small town and if I take public transport, it usually takes me 30 all told to get from my front door to my desk. If I walk it will take me an hour or so, depending on the route and weather.

I leave for work at 7.50 if I'm walking and at 8.15 if I'm taking public transport. I've found myself pushing those time constrictiions more and more lately as I find myself ever more reluctant to get to my job.

What about you? Faced with a massive multi-transport commute? Or leisurely stroll? Do you pay hefty parking charges or cylce to your place of work? How long is your journey?

20 minutes each way, on a motorbike. Much longer if I went by car. Quite a nice ride, I can go the scenic route through the countryside, or take the main roads which is perfectly pleasant down where i live as well. It's about the same travel time either way. The countryside route is longer in mileage, but with no traffic or lights.

No parking charges, I can park wherever the hell I like, can't clamp a motorbike and can't display a parking ticket either :D

I leave the house at about 8am and arrive home about 5.30pm ish.

I don't be there/here until about 10ish, so usually sometime just after 9am.

I'm up at 5:40am to be at work by 7. How I long for the days when it was just a 12 minute bikeride ;)

I leave b/w 7:20 and 7:25 every morning. I approximately have a 25 min commute and school starts at 8.

My drive is only 14 minutes roughly, but I have to splash my face with warm water, feed my cat, make my lunch and coffee and when it snows, I've got to shovel the deck and cars... jeez, all that and I haven't even gotten to work yet

I get up at 7.45am, Kettle goes on on the way to the bathroom. I'm showered and dressed with a cup of tea made by 7.50am and out of the house by 8.

6 pm... I am still grateful that I have a job where I can work nights because waking up at 5 in the morning makes me feel mentally unstable. :borg:

Generally 10 minutes before I'm meant to start. So if I'm starting at 8am I'll get up at 7 and leave about 7:45/7:50, and bomb the 5 mile trip at 70mph

I get up at 5:30 every day. I have some coffee, check the interweb, then walk the treadmill for a half an hour.

I usually leave my house by 7:00, and I have a 30-40 minute commute. 20 minutes on Furlough Friday.

Usually about 06:45, but sometimes stop and have a look at the new releases at the supermarket on the way.

At least it lets me finish at 16:00ish.

I leave the house at 6:15 AM and meet my carpool at the stadium west parking lot around 6:25 and then drive 45 minutes to Altoona so I can be in my classroom comfortably before 7:30.

Home to work is a 40 minute drive depending on traffic, conditions, etc. I usually try to leave the house by 6:40am so I can be there and logging on by 7:30am.

Normal office hours are from 8-9am until 5-6pm. Since I only live three miles away it's a pretty short commute with free parking at the office. When I'm working it's usually from home though, I don't go into the office very frequently.

My son has to catch the his school bus at 7:05am, so I'm usually up and moving during the school year by 6:30am.
