What the Heck Happened Within the Void?!

Ya know, the Romulans surprisingly don't have that much airtime on the various Trek series. Not nearly as much as the Klingons.

^ the Klingons have featured heavily in most of the Treks, Voayger being one they have not appeared alot in, however there is a good reason for that.

^ Aside from the half-Klingon protagonist. ;)
oh yeah her, after Worf was on TNG and a few seasons of DS9 in full Klingon head gear, I had problems seeing her as a Klingon, the almost total lack of head gear (unlike Worf) did not help matters.

She is really to Worf what Tuvok is to Spock, inferior copies.

Then again alot of people have said that about Voyager as a whole, so lets not plough up old ground.

When I think of Star Trek Klingons (he says like there are Klingons in other shows) I just dont think of Torres.

Okay, I finally got that a second time....I think...

Sci is asking why, if the fireplace connection was broken ("offline") when it was moved, then why were the colckwork men - and even the doctor for that matter - able to still use it to get the Reinette?

Yes but Torres is half Klingon/half human which is why she doesn't look as Klingon as Worf.

Basically. To be more specific, how could the broken-clock-side, which normally sits in the 51st Century, have been swivelled into the 18th Century? (Technically, we never actually saw the Clockwork Men use the fireplace to enter the Palace, but obviously they must, at the very least, have tried to use it, causing it to swivel about.)

The Doctor's use of the mantle to get back to the 51st Century was explained as being a result of his bringing it back online by waving his sonic screwdriver about and shouting, "I'm very good!"

To be fair, I suppose we can justify it by saying that the Clockwork Men brought it back online when they began their final attack and it immediately went back offline, thus saving it from the Doctor's destruction of the other time portals. But it's still a plot hole that was never explained in the episode proper.

yeah I know what that, its just that if someone mentioned her to me, I wouldnt think of her as a Klingon in the same way I would Worf or any of the other great Klingons in the shows history.

talking of Klingon, I was in a charity shop today and noticed a tape designed to teach people how to speak Klingon.

^ no I no longer have a tape player.

besides I know all the Klingon I need

Ka Plah (if im spelling that right)
