What the heck happened on March 18, 2010?

A day without cake is just a day - a birthday without cake is just a day - but any day with cake is like a birthday!

Back in 2002 I got into serious trouble on one sci-fi board for asking a similar question to this. I notice that the board had a huge amount of visitors and started a thread asking why. A couple of members angrily informed me that Kevin Smith (from Xena?) had died and that I was being insensitive asking the question. Even a mod told me off.

a few weeks later I mentioned in the Orlando Bloom forum (yes this board had a forum dedicated to Bloom) that I thought that Bloom might have been miscast as Joe Byrne in the upcoming movie Ned Kelly. I thought that Orlando would be more suitable as Steve Hart (another member of the Kelly Gang) and stated my reasons. The fangirls got really upset so I informed them that Byrne was an opium addict who loved fat barmaids and who shot his best friend dead. Did they really want Orlando in such a role? The fangirls got angrier and demanded I apologise for saying that about Joe Byrne despite the fact that what I said was historically correct. They said their Orlando would never play a 'bad man'.

As I result of this thread I was permanently banned from that board.
