What streaming shows/movie do you want on physical media?

Cobra Kai is only available on DVD in region 1, though I believe the German and Australian releases are region free.
I got Cobra Kai via the UK, but they stopped Blu-ray at season three. Season four came out DVD only. Thanks for rubbing salt in the wound. ;)

I honestly don't know if I saw it mentioned or I just (stupidly) assumed, but I can't find where I thought I saw it either. My apologies!
No prob, but I have some good news. As it happens, the Blu-ray release of Pennyworth season three was just announced.

Damn. I saw the picture and immediately thought they announced another season, only to have my hopes further trampled upon reading "alongside complete series release".

Edit: Now confirmed. Disney are ceasing physical releases COMPLETELY in Australia. Even if you're not an Aussie drongo, this is not good news.

Ha, cool! Even though it's probably unlikely, my fingers are still crossed for Stargirl. And if they know what's good for them, Superman and Lois better stay on Blu.

I'd love Cobra Kai on Blu Ray.

I'm looking at this Whiz Kids set from France. First, it's incomplete. Second, English audio is missing for some of the episodes. But everything else I've found is terrible. I'll have to get a throw away external DVD player for the region since it will region lock once I use it so many times. I really hate region locked discs. And then I have to do the PAL to NTSC conversion too. Otherwise, the audio will be pitched too high.

I'm also trying to find Midnight Caller. It's not on any of the streaming services, and I haven't been able to find any physical releases. What I have found is pretty awful.

I'm also looking for season two of the Invisible Man. Only season one and the first episode of season two is available on DVD.

I also want Moonlighting on Blu Ray.

And I can't wait for B5 on Blu Ray. I'd like to see the B5 movies as well remastered since the DVDs for the movies are as bad as the DVDs are for series.

I'm sure there are others too, but these are the ones high on my list.

Let me add to my list season two of the Invisible Man (2000). I’m almost done with my binge of season one.

And I’d like X-Files on Blu-ray. I missed buying this one, and it went out of print when Disney bought Fox. There is a foreign release, but I’m not sure if it’s region free.

If you are talking about the British set. I bought the boxset containing seasons 1-9 and bought seasons 10 and 11 separately. I bought them some years ago. I'm assuming they have not re-issued the discs with different region coding.

It says on all boxes, except seasons 8 and 11 that they are region free. I tried some discs from most seasons including 8 and 11 and they all play on my region A player. Since they were produced and sold in a region B area, my guess would be that they are region free.

I would love to have a Region free DVD or Blu Ray of Blake's 7.
You can stream Blake’s 7 on BritBox. But it might go poof like MI5/Spooks did.

Music is my other frustration. You can hear the original soundtrack on BritBox for Life on Mars, but if you buy the DVDs, it’s not the original.

Another show like this is 21 Jump Street. German DVDs have original music. US streaming and US DVDs don’t.

If I can get region free, I usually import from Amazon.de.

According to Blu-ray.com, the British 1-9 set is region free, but the British 1-11 set is Region B.

I’ll check it out. Much cheaper than the out of print US sets going for $500+. Not a fan of Disney over the last decade.

Only a 3rd party seller on Amazon.co.uk. And it’s over 200 pounds.

The 1-11 set from Germany is 100 euros. Half as much before shipping. I have to see if it’s region free. One review says it is. So I’ll order it tonight. Gotta love the Germans.

I had no idea they were all out of print. I have 1-10 but never got around to getting 11, and now people want $50+ for it used. A lot more new.

And it was soooooo bad.

The new seasons are still in print. The old ones aren't. The only legit way to watch in the US is HULU now.

They're out of print. Target, Best Buy, Amazon, Walmart, all gone. If they're cheap they're the imports. All sellers on Amazon are third party.
