Tasmania
Victoria
South Australia
Western Australia
Queensland
New South Wales

I have never been to the Northern Territory or the Australian Capital Territory.

Only what I'm fairly sure of (most of that was 15 years or so ago when my parents rented a car and we drove around there, part sightseeing, part visiting some friends my parents had in Indiana, which I guess is the reason we didn't south farther); we might have gone through Delaware or some of the states north-east of New York too, but I have no particular memory of that.

I know! I live virtually next door, and I always say "Oh, this weekend I should really make a trip to Lugano". But I never do...

Some of you people need to get out more! Someday I'll complete the set by taking a trip to Louisiana and hitting the other three just to say I was there.

This is approximate, because I can't remember exactly. Many of them I haven't visited properly. So many more places to go!

Many of them probably don't count because we drove right through them, like West Virginia, Massachusetts, New Hampshire and Michigan, to get to our destination and didn't really stop there.

The World map doesn't look like Mercator to me. Maybe Plate Carrée?

You're right, on a second look. Still, it distorts as badly as the Mercator, only latitudinally instead of longitudinally.

There we go. Belgium and Wales may not count as all we did was drive through them (But we did stop somewhere in there). I would have included the Canaries, as I'm going there in a few days, but I haven't been anywhere in mainland Spain, and I haven't been there yet, so I felt it was a step too far to tick Spain.
