What sort of PC case do you use?

Just wondering for those of you that use a PC, what sort of case do you use?

I had up till today a Thermaltake Level 10 GT Snow Edition which is a huge beast, but it's heavy and even with 4 feet extended can wobble slightly.

I went back to my old case, which is a Coolermaster HAF XB cube case. It's as odd looking as the GT, but sits better on a table and has a little bit more access to the interior with removable side and top panels. I think it was th elack of access to the internals in the other case that made me change my mind and revert.

Anyway what do you use?

Shouldn't this be up in the Tech section? @Locutus of Bored and @{ Emilia } what would you say?

As for my PC, it's in a tower configuration and to be honest, I've never really been invested in what it looks like etc, just that it does its job and it does.

Yeah Maybe this thread should be moved. I just thought I was being very general here and not tech specific so that's why I posted here and not in the tech section. Mods can move this if they so desire..

I only changed back mine because of the lack of stability of the other case, and its size and weight. It was cool when I first got it but moving it around was a real chore as the case alone was 12 kilos. Add to that installed hardware and oopsie it's a heavy thing. The old case was way more manageable, so after I think 5 months I have gone back to the old one.

It is black.

I have a toaster cleverly disguised as a laptop. Mobility is supreme.

Hey, at least it'll run STO!

My case is just the default case for a modern HP tower. The case itself is black, but has a silver facing, with a black stripe down the center where the USB hub, SD card reader, and DVD combo drive go. In the center, near the top of the facing, is the silver HP logo. It's an alright case, though it does only have room for a laptop style DVD combo drive, which means if I want to replace it, it will have to be a very close match, or it won't fit in the drive bay.

Here's a picture, because I've managed to confuse myself:

I've been using the same case for 17 years. It was your typical generic nondescript beige box of the era that held a P3 inside.

Antec One, about 4 years old now. Got it for about 50 bucks, great ventilation and internal layout. I had a Lian Li case before this one, but the aluminum dents so easily and I don't go to LAN parties anymore so the weight reduction isn't worth anything to me.
