What Series Would You Marathon On Your Deathbed?

Ted Kennedy spent his final days watching all the Bond movies and 24 on DVD. TWoP came up with a list of shows to watch before you die. What shows would you want to watch if you were at the end?

I'd probably want to be tempted to give West Wing, Babylon 5 or Firefly another spin. But in the end, it would be either TNG or Buffy/Angel, which have characters and universes that I find to be comforting.

Man, that really makes it hit home, how sad this all is. I'd probably watch the same thing. The Bond movies (especially the early ones) are great escapism.

If we're talking about a tv series, I'd have to go with TOS. It is the first tv show I can remember watching and still my favorite series of all time.

Depending on time left-B5, Firefly, and as much Trek as I could squeeze in. With a sprinkling of Stargate SG-1 for variety.

Well, I think I'd probably want to watch some Trek, favorite episodes first, why watch the whole thing if that'll be the last things I watch. Definately the 2009 Star Trek ;) A few other movies, depending on my mood. Like Mel Brook's films - Young Frankenstein, Spaceballs, Robin Hood Men in Tights, Silent Movie. Ghostbusters would be in there, as would Back to the Future 1-3. Iron Man... and the last movie that my dad saw with us... and don't laugh. Beverly Hills Chihuahua. It was funny!

DS9, Dexter and Lost. Assuming I was too far gone for my first choice, which would be to revisit national parks in person, even if I had to be wheeled around. ;)

Stargate SG-1.

Good choice. Watching how far downhill it slid would make me feel less bad about dying. :D

You know what would SUCK? If I were watching some I-gotta-find-out-how-it-ends show like Lost or Dexter when my time was up. And since I'm watching two like that right now, odds are good that that will actually happen, if the present is a good predictor of the future. :wtf:

But by then we'll all be immortal due to being able to clone and replace body parts, right?

For me, it would definitely be the original Star Trek. It's among my first memories, so it would be fitting that it would be among my last to complete the circle...

I'd go with Doctor Who, Buffy, and Angel. I feel like "Not Fade Away" is an appropriate send-off.

I would probably go with a combination of SG-1, Voyage To The Bottom Of The Sea, Buffy, some bits of Trek (from one or two of the series)...the comfort shows.

If we can just live long enough we can live forever.:shifty:

I have so many shows that I'd want to cram in. But I'd want to see something upbeat and fun in my final days, so I'd nominate Farscape and Jericho.

I'd probably spend my last hours writing letters, if I had the strength. If not, then I'd watch some DVDs of:

Magnum, PI
The first 6 seasons of Stargate
Some Doctor Who
A little TNG, DS9 and one or two Enterprise episodes

I'd probably ask to see Raiders of the Lost Ark again and maybe Cinema Paradiso.
