What Sci-Fi Veterans Do You Want to See?

Denis Lawson also appeared in Jekyll with Michelle Ryan and Starkers' favourite drool-fest Gina Bellman.

Denis Lawson's had truckloads of leading roles on British TV over the last 25 years, even if (by the looks of it) not many of those series made it overseas - The Justice Game (lawyer drama), Kit Curran (sitcom, with next companion Lindsay Duncan as his romantic interest), That Uncertain Feeling (classic novel adaptation), Dead Head (a bit like Seven, but more political and earlier), etc, etc etc. Plus dozens of guest spots as the murderer and/or obvious-but-innocent suspect, etc.

Hey that's ONE of my favourite drool fests...hell she isn't even my favourite Coupling girl

That said I'd love to see her in Who, I'd just prefer to see Kate Issitt

HOLY CRAP! That's Wedge?!! Awesome!! I had no idea! I loved him in Jekyll, and thought "Man, he's familiar" but I just couldn't place it. Damn, small world... :techman:

Hey man, Browder is practically another Captain Jack waiting to happen. He has the perfect "generic" American accent... ;)

Perhaps a Torchwood appearance as another Time Agent. He'd have to be a captain with the initials JH though!

^Yeah, I've never understood that stuff. I know Captain Jack Harkness is a name he adopted from a soldier in WWII, and that we don't know what Jack's real name is. But, what was the deal with "Spike-Agent" taking on a "J.H." name? I never saw that...

Did Marston refer to him as his real name in one of the episodes he was in? Or did he call him Captain Jack, as well?

Must be a Time Agent thing.

I think comedic actor Jason Bateman would make a great Time Agent. He'd definitely be in the accounting department. Would make a for a great comedic guest-star into the Whoverse, though...

"Hi, yes...Cap-Captain? Ca----Mr. Hark---Jack? Jack, is it? Jack, right. Jack, according to my firgures you owe the Time Agency for some back-pay. Umm...yeah...I'm going to need that money.....pretty much right now....sorry...."

Hey, hey hey!

She's LOTS of people's favorite drool-fest... :adore:

Marsters goes, "What [name] are you wearing?"
"Captain Jack Harkness, note the stripes."
"Captain John Hart, note the sarcasm."
("I worked my way up through the ranks."
"I bet the ranks were very grateful."
etc.)
I guess he calls him Jack after that if he calls him anything.
At any rate, he never calls him by his real name.
And it sounds a bit like Captain John thought up his own name on the spot.

I don't know why but I can't imagine seeing an American SF actor in Doctor Who and as insane as it sounds Patrick Stewart feels 'too big' in my head.

Claudia Black however... should be cast in everything. Particularly if she's just being Vala with a different name.
