What Sci-fi aspect from TV or movies would you like to see happen in real life?

I was thinking about this when reading the sci-fi tropes thread.

-Vulcans arrive tomorrow on earth

-Replicants being introduced next year

-Superheroes and Villains making their presence known.

-Godzilla

I'd like to own a replicator.

And: seeing Dukat in front of Donald Trump instead of Kanye West would be a sight to behold.

Being able to beam yourself to Australia or elswhere to shorten the troubles of traveling.

I'm with you on Godzilla...as long I can see him on the news wrecking a city on another continent.

I just want aliens to show up, period. They don't have to be Vulcans. I just want them to come in peace and give us ftl drives.

I don't drive so transporter technology would be huge for me.
Sentient A.I. would be cool as long as they didn't decide to kill all humans.

I can just see Dukat propping his feet up on the president desk like he owned the joint(secretly he was controlling everything behind the scenes)

That's all you really need. If you can live long enough, you'll get to see most of the SF stuff eventually happen sooner or later.

Not so fast on the "Planet of the Apes" world. At the end of the first set of movies, humans and apes learn to live together in peace. It might not be so bad either in that other ape world from Mystery Science Theater 3000. Just as long as you escape with the Lawgiver and find away to get aboard the Satelite of Love. Hanging with Mike and the Bots sounds fun.

Not to mention, bank account. I to like the idea of time travel but am I wrong that part of me would want to bring "relics" back from the past and sale them at high value because of how good of condition they are in. I mean you can still do the research stuff of course but why not make a little money on the side!

Speaking of time travel. I would like just the TARDIS. No other element of the doctor who universe expect the TARDIS.

I don't think I could handle the alien aspects of the doctor who universe though

I also wouldn't mind if we worked together to build an "Enterprise" or FTL vehicle.
