What Questions Are Still Left Unanswered?

^ I'd thought it was all that Vinvocci radiation, plus the extra time he "held it in".

I think that Ten's regeneration was explosive because 'he didn't want to go.' He fought tooth and nail to stay in his (then) current incarnation.

Also, because it was cool and the new control room is much nicer. :techman:
Yea, the Radiation + holding it in/resisting the change, was what I always thought.

I still want to know the whole story of his Death in Utah, which I have a feeling this whole season has been leading up to. If we don't get a resolution to that, I will be very disappointed.

Having just watched Planet Of The Ood, I wonder if they'll ever delve into why they advanced so much in the 100 years afterwards.

Agreed. That was such a pointless revelation and I don't think RTD has ever addressed it, even in his book (where he did address the woman in white), and it's not like Davies & Moffat shared many ideas with each other during that transition.

And it's so much more visually dynamic with all of the different levels and all of the different areas you can play in and different ways to enter & exit. It's difficult to imagine them doing an episode like "Amy's Choice" in the old Eccleston/Tennant console room, where they have to play so much of the scene within that room.

I have a feeling we'll at least get around to that. One thing I really like about Moffat is that I don't think he ever introduces anything without having at least one potential explanation in mind that he will eventually reveal. It's not like The X-Files.

Why hasn't he found himself another Fez yet?
This is the most important question of all!

Actually, I'm pretty sure I saw a fez sitting on the console during the rehearsal of "Death is the Only Answers" (the mini-episode written by a group of school children) in the most recent episode of Doctor Who Confidential.

They showed the first lines of the mini-episode being filmed in another, and the Doctor had just gotten a new fez.

^^These are all pretty great, but all are still bulletin board speculation. There's never been an ON SCREEN explanation and yet other, lesser things have been explained completely. I think this is being held for a reason.

Who was the mysterious woman in white during the Tenth Doctor's final episode?

Will River Song's ultimate destiny in "Forest of the Dead" be averted?

Will the Doctor once again bring Sexy back to the TARDIS?
Prbably never get an in-show answer to the Woman in White. RTD said in a book or interview he intended it to be the Doctor's mother, but, it's up to the audience to decide who she is.

I like to think she was Susan, and that the Doctor's looking from Wilf to Donna when he asked who she was is an echo of the Doctor's relationship with Susan -- from the old man to the granddaughter.

There's STILL been no explanation on the show as to why the TARDIS went kablooey when the Doc regenerated. Sure, LOTS of speculation on this very board, but, as far as I can recall, NO mention on the show. And, I'm convinced this has been deliberate. I think this is still something floating out there.

Looked to me like he was expelling way more energy than he normally does. I don't really think that needs an explicit explanation.

By the way, has anyone listened to the lyrics of Abigail's Song from A Christmas Carol? I just listened to the song for literally the first time since I saw the show last December, and I'd forgotten about all the references to "When you're alone, SILENCE is all you know..." Even the music is permeated with the mystery!

I really don't think that's a reference to the Silence, I think that's just Abigail talking about the nature of loneliness.
